The Rhythm Riders Academy offers Mridangam and Tabla group and private lessons to students at our locations across Melbourne.
Our lessons are conducted by professional performers ensuring our students gain the level of insight required to be performance ready.
Lessons are held in a relaxed and enjoyable environment to assist in students learning their chosen instrument comfortably. We pride ourselves on having our students learn these classical art forms, as well as being able to apply their skills in a modern context.
Examinations
The Rhythm Riders Academy conducts optional formalised exams for both Mridangam and Tabla. The student will be required to fulfil a list of requirements and will be measured against a criteria. Upon completing the final grade examination, the student will be an expert in the instrument of choice and be ready to perform, just as any professional in the field can.
